Twas a dark and stormy night before Christmas Eve Day. The woman and children were crying for there was no hot water to be had. Alas! The ancient, decrepit water heater had rusted out, spilling its contents throughout the garage in a final farewell after a life of dutiful service far beyond the expectations of its manufacturer.
Overcome with dread of what horrors yonder daybreak would visit upon the family, the man cried out for help, and who should answer but Ken O’Brien! Professional words were exchanged, arrangements were made, and the very next morning just before the man’s ears began to bleed from shouts pertaining to the unsatisfactory hydrothermal conditions, Shazam!
It was indeed as if an act of sorcery had occurred, for in the place of the item which had driven the family to the brink of a situation bearing similarities to Lord of the Flies, was a shiny new, fully functioning water heater!
Christmas was saved. The sound of children laughing and playing filled the air. All was right with the world. The family bid Ken O’Brien a fond farewell and watched as, just like Santa Claus flies back to the North Pole after delivering joy and happiness, Ken O’Brien rode off into the high noon sun, with joy in their hearts and hot water in the pipes. Peace had been restored throughout the kingdom, and they all lived happily ever after.
