I believe communication is a human right, and everyone deserves access to a language. My mission is to make American Sign Language more accessible by empowering hearing individuals to communicate with the Deaf community while also supporting Deaf and hard of hearing individuals who are learning or strengthening their ASL skills.
I don’t just teach signs, I help build meaningful connections between the hearing and Deaf communities. I strongly encourage parents, siblings, family members, friends, educators, and coworkers to learn ASL so that the Deaf and hard of hearing individuals in their lives have the communication access, inclusion, and support they deserve.
I hold a college degree in American Sign Language, a Certificate in Deaf Studies, and have over five years of experience working within the Deaf community. I currently serve as an ASL interpreter in the K–12 education system and have experience interpreting in educational, sports, and virtual settings.
I offer engaging, one-on-one virtual ASL lessons tailored to each student’s goals, learning style, and pace. Whether you’re learning ASL for personal growth, to communicate with a loved one, to support your students, or to prepare for further education or a career using ASL, my goal is to help you build a strong, confident foundation in both the language and Deaf culture.
In addition to teaching, I provide professional ASL interpreting services with a commitment to accuracy, cultural competence, confidentiality, and respect. My hope is that every lesson and every interpretation helps create a more inclusive world where communication is accessible to everyone.
