About
I really truly love what I do and I pour my heart into my job. Besides being around great horses and great people all day? I think the most rewarding thing about teaching is when my students have what I call lightbulb moments. When all of their hard work finally comes together and things click, you can see that second of "AH HA!" on their face and it makes it all worth it.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Horses are my life. I have spent nearly my whole life riding, training and competing horses and I wouldn't be the person I am today without horses. I want to be able to give other people the memories and experiences that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I teach lessons both at my home facility, as well as travel to those who have their horses at other boarding facilities or their homes. I train and ride horses for clients, coach at shows, take care of the horses at the barn, braid, clip, and much much more.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do your homework. Don't fall for glitzy websites or things for only human comfort. There are lots of barns that look beautiful and well put together, but in reality, the horses' care and staff experience is lacking. Look for fat, shiny, and happy horses and equally as happy riders. Everything from that point is just the extras on top.
