Introduction: Music. Having been a bar owner who relied on music to bring in business, I learned a lot about how important choosing great music can be. It doesn't matter what genre or time period. A good song is a good song. Another thing is in the planning. I think it's extremely important to be very detail oriented in the planning phase of the event. I like taking the time to talk to clients and setting of the event and choosing music. Of course, I play exactly what you want but I am also there to help in the creative process and in the scheduling of the event with the music. Meeting people we do events for. It's hard not to enjoy being around so many smiling faces!

My wife and I hired Brian for our wedding and wedding reception back in August. Although we didn't book him through this service, he sent an email request asking us to review him here. Overall, it was a great experience. He spent a lot of time with us in the beginning which was nice. The only problem was an apparent small glitch with his computer but it was really unnoticeable to us as he was able to keep going while he got it corrected. I guess he felt the need to let us know what was going on when he really didn't need too. Great guy though and good service.

Lowcountry DJ did a great job at the birthday party for our dad. He had a surprising good collection of late 50's and early 60's music that we hadn't even requested. He said his own dad and he worked on finding gems from that period that my dad had forgotten about. My dad was extremely happy. Great work Brian, we are happy to review you here! How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a bar owner in Medellin, Colombia. I got into playing music for the bar and when I moved on from that line of business and moved back to America, I realized how awesome DJing would be for events here.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings and wedding receptions and birthday parties but a little of everything.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Take the time to communicate with your DJ. I would see if the DJ is willing to spend time with you in the planning not simply trying to book as many events as possible.
