Andy did a fantastic job installing our stair railing! The work is beautiful. He made the process incredibly easy. His work ethic and speed of completion has impressed us enough to hire him to replace our entire back deck, close in our screened porch, and replace all of the railing on our front porch. I highly recommend!

The metal hand rail on the brick steps in the garage to our house was loose and an unsafe for my disabled husband to use. After a nearly 10 day stay in the hospital, I knew his strength had diminished, and he’d rely on putting even more of his body weight on the handrail to get in and out of the house.
Unfortunately, I had not prioritized finding someone to do the job until suddenly realizing he’d likely be discharged the next day. I searched Thumbtack for stair and hand rail repair. I contacted Layne Home Services, and received an immediate response. After exposing the urgency of the situation, I was shocked to hear Andy say he’d need to stop to get some concrete epoxy in route but could come in an hour!
Thanks to Andy’s know how and quick call to action, the railing is secure and I can rest a bit easier knowing my husband is safe when coming up and down the stairs. Thank you again, Andy for being able to respond so quickly. He was discharged from the hospital the following afternoon!
