- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies by session type, length, and deliverables. Wedding packages typically start at $1,500 and include full-day coverage and a digital gallery. Portrait sessions start at $250. I don't charge hidden fees — what we agree on is what you pay. Deposits are required to hold your date, and the remainder is due before delivery of your gallery. I'm happy to discuss custom packages for unique projects.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a quick call or message to talk through your vision, timeline, and any specific shots you want. From there I'll send a simple contract and collect a deposit to hold your date. On the day of your session, I arrive early, move efficiently, and keep things relaxed so you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Final galleries are delivered digitally, typically within 2–3 weeks.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been shooting professionally since 2010 and have built my craft through hands-on experience across hundreds of weddings, portrait sessions, and events. My work has been recognized as award-winning, and I stay current with the latest techniques in natural light photography, post-processing, and Lowcountry location work. The best education in this field is time behind the lens — and I have plenty of it.
