I, however believe that it’s one of those skilled trades not a lot of people want to learn, or put the time into learning.I have 29 years of experience in the installation and removal of wallpaper and paint. I have put many hours in crafting my skill to where it is perfect the first time. I enjoy talking with homeowners and contractors alike. I have done many high end jobs in my career and continue to strive for excellence each day. I have always been prompt to start a job, and to finish a job. Also, I have never missed a deadline for a job. I believe that says something in today’s standards of work. Free estimates. If you have a need for Quality Wallpaper Installation, this is literally the only company in the entire U.S. that you should consider; this review only allows for 5 stars but Levi and his team easily deserve 6 or more!
Levi and his team recently completed a full restoration project for me on a 200 year old, antebellum house totalling over 10,000 square feet. The walls were tall (14') and typically uneven due to the timeperiod of their construction and nearly all of the walls had various levels of interior damage that needed to be repaired before papering could commence. My expectation was museum-quality perfection; all within a deadline that was definitely unreasonable on my part. In other words, the project was difficult, so difficult that most companies refused to even quote the work. Out of the 3 companiesn that did submit bids, Levi's was the only one that was A) timely, B) Firm Priced so I could budget the project, and C) came Turnkey - no hidden costs. He even gave me an unconditional guarantee of success or the project was free.
Levi and his team coordinated their work alongside the other craftsmen working at the property and never interfered, delayed or got in the way of anybody else; in fact, we occasionally caught Levi and his group helping out the other professionals on some of their work after his team was done for day - I never saw a single bill for this.
Levi mobilized to the site on schedule and did not leave until that entire phase (there were 3 phases) of the project was done; often working weekends and some available nights to stay on schedule - all without adjusting his price. Levi showed up with every conceivable tool at his ready: whether it was the commercial-grade scaffolding that they typically use at some of his 5-star hotel customers, or his system of rollers and gluing tools that make for the quick and precise transition from paper-prep, to paper-hanging; Levi's team was equipped to be turnkey and efficient at all intervals.
As the project moved along and I began to inspect the work product, and, (based on my 3 previous, recent historical remodels calling for wallpapering scope, which ultimately yielded varying degrees of success/failure) close inspections I did do! This is literally the ONLY PROJECT EVER where I did not have to order additional materials (typically seen when a mistake destroys some of the wallpaper) to complete the project. In fact (and you can zoom in on the pictures accompanying this review) this is also the ONLY PROJECT EVER where I did not have post-project regrets with the quality and craftsmanship.
In short, Levi, Chet and his entire small, but specialized, team of professionals treated my project more like an artist would treat his canvas; they are certainly not the kind of folks who take their life's work casually, and their work product speaks directly to their ethics and expertise.
Levi told me, after he was done with the entire project, that, depending on his schedule and the size and scope of my next project, he was willing to travel anywhere in the continental U.S. for the next one; there is not a single doubt in my mind that I will try my best to take him up on his offer, I just hope that he isn't already booked-up when I need his expertise next.
If you want fairness, professionalism, value, top-quality, and turnkey results at (what I consider) a very fair price, from a team of people that you can totally trust, without a doubt, to be around your home and valuables as they carry out their unique form of artwork..., these are your guys.
*Note: They even helped catch up some of the painting scope that was running behind schedule...I didn't even initially know that they were also talented, special-scope painters when I hired them.

We could not be more happy with our entire experience with Levi and Simple Seams Wall. Incredibly professional and timely, he was able to give us a quote and complete our job within the same week. He is knowledgeable about grasscloth wallpaper and meticulous to line up detailed prints. We love our wallpaper and will absolutely hire them again for future work!!

In a sea of home improvement professionals, and having experienced the unprofessional side of the business, I must let you know that Levi Jackson is in a class of his own. My husband and I are currently living in our home as it undergoes a three to four month renovation. Levi responded promptly to my request for a wallpaper hanger. We set an appointment for him to view the rooms and measure the space. Levi was absolutely on time and communicated along the way. Levi knows how to run a successful business the right way. Levi knows how to maintain clients through his perfect professionalism. He’s so talented in fact, he was called out to do an enormous corporate job on the west coast. That was a disappointment to me as he would be gone on the days we set aside in my home. Enter Gene King. Levi brilliantly contacted his mentor, Gene King, to replace him. Levi stated that Gene taught him everything about hanging wallpaper, and that included professionalism. Gene stepped in and worked in my home for a period days until the job was complete. Gene was clean and careful. Gene cared about every detail. Gene hung a difficult pattern with perfect skill and talent. Gene is delightful and has a beautiful smile that never goes away. I look at the completed walls and feel WONDERFUL that Levi and Gene left their mark and fabulous energy in my home. Simply the best.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was probably 10 or so my mother wallpapered our bathroom and hallway. Then a friend of my mothers seen it and wanted her bathroom done. I was always fond of watching. When I got to be 14-15 I met a friend that did it everyday, and he asked if I wanted to learn. That began the long journey to where I’m at now. I’ve had 10 great teachers at the time. They were older gentlemen when I started, and they taught me everything they knew. Until this day I still carry the traditional aspect of the installation.
