FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
1. HVAC pricing isn’t one-size-fits-all Every home, system, and situation is different. Pricing depends on system size, efficiency, installation complexity, existing ductwork, electrical needs, and the condition of the current system. 2. The cheapest price is rarely the best value Low quotes often mean shortcuts—improper sizing, reused materials, rushed installs, or limited warranty support. Quality installation directly affects comfort, energy costs, and system lifespan. 3. Proper installation matters as much as the equipment Two identical systems can perform very differently depending on how they’re installed. Labor, setup, airflow adjustments, and testing are critical parts of the price. 4. Transparent pricing should be upfront Customers should expect clear, written pricing before work begins, with a breakdown of what’s included. There should be no surprises after the job is complete. 5. Repairs vs. replacement should be explained honestly A good contractor explains when a repair makes sense and when replacement may be more cost-effective long term—without pressure. 6. Efficiency impacts long-term cost Higher-efficiency systems may cost more upfront but often reduce monthly energy bills and qualify for rebates or incentives, saving money over time. 7. Warranties and support are part of the value Pricing should include manufacturer warranties, labor warranties, and access to follow-up support if issues arise. 8. Maintenance protects your investment Regular maintenance helps prevent breakdowns, improves efficiency, and protects warranty coverage. Maintenance plans are often a smart long-term value.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Initial Contact & Scheduling When a new client reaches out, we listen first. We ask a few quick questions about the system, symptoms, and timeline, then schedule a visit at a time that works best for them. 2. On-Site Evaluation A certified technician arrives on time and performs a full system evaluation. This includes inspecting the equipment, checking airflow, electrical components, refrigerant levels, and overall system performance. 3. Clear Diagnosis & Education We explain what we find in plain language. Clients are shown photos or videos when possible, so they can see the issue themselves and understand the recommended solution. 4. Upfront Options & Pricing Before any work begins, we provide clear repair or replacement options with upfront pricing. There are no surprises and no pressure—clients choose what’s best for their home and budget. 5. Professional Service & Installation Once approved, we complete the work efficiently and to code. We protect the home, follow manufacturer guidelines, and ensure all components are installed correctly. 6. System Testing & Quality Check After service, we test the system thoroughly—verifying airflow, temperature split, refrigerant charge, and safety controls to ensure reliable operation. 7. Final Walkthrough & Recommendations We review the work with the client, answer questions, and provide maintenance tips or future recommendations to help extend the life of the system. 8. Ongoing Support We remain available after the job is complete and offer maintenance plans to keep systems running efficiently year-round.
