I hired SC Home Services for pest control (cockroaches, spiders, ants, crickets). I found that the price was very affordable, but was hesitant because the profile didn't say much about pest control services. I specifically asked how they handle customers who may not be satisfied. Merritt told me that he would come back as many times as necessary to make sure I was happy. With that, we noticed that a lot less bugs were getting in the house, but some were still getting in, and not dying right away. When Merritt checked in with me (I didn't even have to call him first), I let him know and he immediately scheduled a second visit. After the second visit, we noticed very few bugs, and those that we found were dead. He also didn't charge me for the follow-up, which is exactly what he promised. I appreciate Merritt's honesty and work ethic, and we plan to continue regular services with him.

We were very pleased with Mr. Whittier's work. He was on time (even when we were not, haha), did a very thorough inspection, and got the report back to me quickly, with additional recommendations. He is also the only person I have found that does the home inspection AND the CL-100 termite letter, saving time and money from having to hire an additional person to do the termite inspection.

I have over 25 years in pest and termite service and over 20 years in construction and Home Inspection. I also have 2 years in Real Estate
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out as a teen helping out on construction sites.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When hiring a Home Inspector you should look at the license number to see how long they have been licensed. The larger the number the more recent he is in the business
