At CarolinaK9LLC we focus on the relationship between the handler and their dog through dog psychology. This helps the handler know how to better understand and communicate with their dog. This also allows the dog to better understand the expectations of the handler. As the handler learns to fulfill their dogs mental, physical and emotional needs, the dog will exude better manners and behaviors. This results in a strong bond and relationship between handler and dog. We also provide rules, boundaries, structure and play time when you board your dogs with us. This ensures that all your dogs needs are being met. As well as all your dogs training is being reinforced during their stay.

Steven came to my home for a private 2 hour training session for our 2.5 year old pitty mix, Poppy. I needed help in training Poppy to walk without pulling and keep her from jumping up on people. From the moment Steven showed up, he began working with Poppy. Steven is very knowledgeable and experienced. He explained what he was doing and why balanced training works. He was patient with Poppy in his training and teaching her impulse control. Within a very short time Poppy was walking at his side. This was a great learning experience for Poppy and me. Steven gave me the confidence I needed to try the things he taught me. I am sure that I will be able to walk Poppy at my side. I wouldn’t hesitate contacting him again for any other training concerns.

Steven ( the owner), is really the dog whisperer, my little boy Kai, is a new dog, Steven trained him and my wife and I, and now things are so much easier and happier between Kai and us, no more stress, just a happy home! TY Steven!!!!!!!!

Steven has been amazing with our dogs. We have been with Carolina k9’s for a year now. We rescued two adult dogs that needed a lot more training than we could do on our own. After our first session with Steven we could tell a huge difference in their behavior. Steven has continued to work with us and them and even took Bluey to Home Depot as a part of his training. We have also boarded our dogs here and had their nails trimmed and had great experiences. They always come home so happy. We are very glad we found Carolina K9’s!

We wouldn't send our dog Boo anywhere else! Steven and Carolina K-9 treat Boo like she was their own and they are always receptive to a call about how things are going. Boo is always so happy and energetic when we pick her up. We always know she is loved and getting the best care she can possibly get while we are away!
