When returning home to my small, cluttered, and chaotically disorganized apartment after a hard day of work actually became stressful and riddled with anxiety, I knew I needed help. I'm so lucky to have met Gina, because she not only help completely reorganize my place, but just as importantly provided me with a framework to keep it organized myself. She is a proponent and master practitioner of Marie Kondo's tidying methods and motto that everything in one's home should have their own home as well. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to have a complimentary consultation call, where we talk about your goals and your home and what you are looking to organize. I tell you a little about me, and my expertise, and then we work out a plan from there. I love meeting new people and talking about what the would love to see out of their home and how I can get them there!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified by Marie Kondo, the star of Netflix's Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, and the world's premier organizing expert. There are only 500 people in the world certified by her, and I'm proud to be one. I'm also a teacher, so I not only educate kids in the classroom, but adults in how to organize!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved organizing, and know the value that an organized home can bring, especially as a mom. I found out that Marie Kondo was offering certification in her KonMari Method, and I decided I wanted to do this for a living and help as many people as I could find the happiness of an organized home!
