Bert and Ernie were a hot mess! No more! Robert got them into shape! Yesterday we had HVAC workers here and they were calm. Someone else rang our doorbell and My back-off kept them quiet and allowed me to open the door without fear of the demons making their escape! We really cant even call them demons anymore! Thank you Robert!

Can not say enough about Robert and his training. I interviewed many companies before selecting Robert and I immediately knew he was going to be the one for my job. My dog was extremely reactive On the leash, and Robert gave me the tools and training to set him up for success. Im so appreciative for the work Robert poured into my dog and I as a team. Seriously life changing.
Dog Training In Your Home's reply

Due to unforeseen circumstances I became the sole owner of my 26 month old 3/4 European Doberman. I am a 51 female that weighs just as much as he does. I needed immediate help training him and myself so I could handle him for walks, with guests in our home and overall obedience management. I initially had him do 2 week board and train with an e-collar for $2000. After the first week home I quickly realized that this training was not going to be a long term solution. Brax, being as smart as he is understood that obedience was tied solely to the collar, with it off he would jump back into his old patterns. As well as when he felt really defiant he would resist the increased sensation from the collar. I realized I needed a better trainer that would allow me to mange Brax without relying on the collar. I found Robert and explained my situation. After our initial meeting I already felt relief. In home training, once a week for five weeks was his guarantee. After week one I was able to walk him to my comfort which was big for me. With our continued weekly training, I had tools and commands that proved effective and has brought great change in Braxs behavior. Friends and family have noticed the difference and are amazed at the results.I highly recommend choosing Robert over e-collar training, get it right the first time and at a better rate so you dont have to pay twice like I did.

I was very pleased with the training. Alora was very professional and knowledgeable and helped me, not just my dog. She also helped me locate the right equipment I needed. Although my dog is small, hes very stubborn, and she was very good at teaching me the best way to get results I wanted.
Dog Training In Your Home's reply
Thank you so much, Janet! We're thrilled you had such a rewarding experience with Alora and our company :-) Every dog is different, which is why we prefer the in-home and individualized method. Alora did a great job finding the right technique for you and your pup :-) Keep up the great work and we look forward to seeing you at the Monthly Training Tune-up Classes!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of our programs are customized to fit your needs. Our free, in-home evaluation will help us determine the trainability, temperament, and personality of your dog. This is combined with any behavior problems you want addressed to create a personalized program. All of our programs include our Lifetime Betterdog Warrantee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a free, in-home evaluation will help us determine the trainability, temperament, and personality of your dog. This is combined with any behavior problems you want addressed to create a personalized program. Once you sign up, we try to get a trainer out ASAP (usually within 1 week-10 days). After your first lesson, you set up every other lesson with your trainer while they are there. While we try to provide weekly training sessions, the schedule can vary depending on individuals' schedules, as well as if the dog needs more time for training. If you have Tune-up Classes included with your program, you can join those at any time, but we recommend them after the in-home portion of you training is done unless recommended by your trainer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our trainers have come to Dog Training In Your Home with some sort of prior animal experience. From a former K9 Handler to Obedience Trails, to working with rescues or shelters. Once they join our company, they are provided with on-the-job training and classroom training to teach our Multi-method Training System so they can provide the best training technique for your dog.
