What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by communicating with the customer on Thumbtack. Once contact is established if customer is interested we have a face to face meeting to see how everyone gets along. I like to have a question and answer session to make sure the customer is comfortable with me taking care of their pets, and to go over the normal routines of their pets.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started 4 years ago when a next door neighbor asked me to take care of her dogs for a weekend. I enjoyed being with the dogs and helping out a friend so that she could have a nice weekend without worrying about her babies.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of customers as well as their pets. They all have the same thing in common, they want someone to provide love and companionship to their pets and to know that they are being well cared for.
