- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Easter, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Christmas, I offer a 10% discount on all of my services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I schedule a meet and greet with the customer at their home or another location that is most convenient. Then, the potential client and I go over what I do in a day and what they can expect from me. If we are a match, I will ask them to write down their number, emergency contact, vet information, ask for a copy of house key or garage number to get into their home and discuss payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I learned how to care for animals from my parents and family. Being a member of the National Association for Professional Pet Sitters gave me inside tips on specific animal behavior.
