Working with Ben was a wonderful experience. He quickly made me feel at ease in front of the camera, and the photos reflect that. I needed professional headshots done quickly, and Ben's turnaround time in getting the images to me was impressive. I love how my photos turned out. Ben is epically cool, professional, and easy-going - he made the photo shoot into a fun experience. Definitely wowed by Chrisman Studios!

Within one week, we had scheduled an appt., had the photo shoot, delivery of proofs and final headshot in hand. An amazing team who made the process so seamless. And the end product was amazing!!

We hired Ben and his team for our wedding at a Charlottesville cider mill. Couldn't have asked for more. They used every angle and light source they could finagle to craft unique and memorable images. But more than that, they captured the narrative of our day, like true photojournalists, so that when we look back at the pictures, it's not just the striking images or portraits of our friends and family, but the true story of our day. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Having Ben & Erin photograph our wedding was a non-negotiable when we started planning. I've known them for over 12 years and after being at and in weddings that they photographed in the past we knew we couldn't celebrate the best day of our lives without them. Ben & Erin don't just show up for the wedding day, shoot for 6 hours and leave, they truly become part of the wedding party all weekend long. They capture the raw moments in ways you could never imagine. The creativity behind every photo is next level and you can't help but feel comfortable around them. Mike who HATES having his photo taken was even willing to linger just a little longer during certain moments of the weekend to make sure they captured the photo in the best way possible. When Ben asked said "I hope you print some of these out to hang in your house" during the photo reveal we laughed, if there was a way to print out all 1,585 of them and hang them on our walls we would do it in a heartbeat. We'd get married all over again if it meant getting more photos!

Business headshots and branding sessions start at $150 in our studio. If all you need is one photo for LinkedIn or your website, the total will be $349. If you want more personalized business branding, we offer packages based on what you’re looking for.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a phone call to learn about you, your business, and what is important to you. Then we use that information to create the best photographs you've ever had of yourself.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With degrees in photojournalism, we have been professional photographers for over 20 years. We're old enough to be the most experienced photographers in town, but young enough to completely love what we do.
