I am a wedding & portrait photographer with a background in fine arts and passion for photography. I love having a great time with my clients while getting stunning photos at the same time. My goal every time I get behind the lens is to capture more than just a likeness. It is to capture beautiful light, a feeling and life all in a single image. My husband and I were both a little nervous about taking photos (because we aren’t very photogenic) but Sarah made it so much fun!! It wasn’t awkward at all, she found the perfect spot and got exactly what we were looking for. If we ever need professional photos again we will definitely contact Sarah!

If youre looking for an amazing, detail-oriented, artistically-gifted, and very personable photographer, Sarah is the photographer you need. Sarah took our maternity photos, and I will cherish those photos forever. Even though it was a super humid day, and I was 9 months pregnant, Sarah was still able to work her magic and make me feel beautiful, and my husband and I both loved how our photos turned out. Sarah is a hard worker who values her customers. She is very professional, but she knows how to interact well with her clients to help create a relaxed atmosphere during the photo session. With her art and design background, Sarah does a great job setting up shots and capturing the perfect images. I look forward to the next session were able to do with Sarah!

First of all, my husband and I are not the type of people who like our picture taken but Sarah was genuine and understanding of our wants and insecurities that we ended up having a blast. She was able to not only capture my pregnancy glow but she created a beautiful memory between my husband and I that I will forever cherish. We loved her work so much that we also had her take our newborn photos and I gotta say she can really do it all. She worked with an upset baby and when we couldnt calm her down she literally rocked the baby for like fifteen minutes until she fell asleep because as a first time mom I had no clue what to do. The pictures are stunning! If you havent booked your session yet, youre wasting your time!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All sessions include an online gallery of your retouched, high-resolution digital files with a print release so you can share, download and print whenever and wherever you want. All portrait sessions require a $100 deposit and all weddings require a 50% deposit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Degree in Fine Arts
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a degree in Fine Arts and first learned photography on film in college, but it wasn't until I had my first child in 2013 that I fell in love with photography and started shooting with intent. I realized the beauty in being able to capture more than just a moment, but freezing a feeling and connecting more intimately with the world around me.
