Introduction: I have a serious passion for family, travel, frugal living, DIY, power tools, home renovation, refurbishing, repurposing, decorating, design and serving people in general.
Seeing genuine astonishment radiate from friends, clients and families faces, when helping people achieve their visual goals in decorating, is why I continue to study design and still provide decorating services.
However, I knew there was a greater need for the services we offer.
In 2012, my husband and I began seeking to purchase a home to accommodate our growing family. After viewing many houses online, open houses, and touring with our agent, I was astonished (much to my dismay) how MOST HOMES were bare! OR, it felt as if we were invading their personal space. (I have a visionaries eye so it wasn't too difficult, however I understand that most don't.) Seeing first hand; how long these homes had been on the market, thinking of the sellers wasted time & money, enthralled me! That's where home staging and redesign presented itself. I knew that I had something invaluable to offer these folks.
So in 2016, I obtained my real estate license to learn (in greater detail) about the selling process.
TRUE FACT: Buyers decide whether they love or hate your listing within 2-5 minutes. (It's cruel, I get it!) TRUE FACT: Home staging/redesign typically results in a higher price offer and drastically reduces the listings time on the market by 84%.(RESA)
