FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price each job by time and material.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
They way I stay up with the latest developments in my field is by talking to distributers and manufactures. They seem to have the insight before the HBA.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been doing this type of work my entire life. My Grandfather was a General Contractor and my father owned a roofing company. Not to tell you my life story but I lived back and forth between the two. When I was living with my granddad I learned how to build, do flooring, trim, painting, sheetrock, plumbing and overall how to run a jobsite, with my father I learned roofing, siding, flashing, and building. Even when my dad came to do the exterior work on the homes my grandfather was building my grandfather would still make me go out and help my dad. Growing up I didn't like it much because they always made me work, but now I understand why they did it because over time I became very good at this job at a young age.
