Tori's team moved us from a 3,000 square foot home in Spartanburg, SC to a 1,100 square foot rental and a large storage unit in Gaffney! They did a wonderful job...respectful of our belongings...time efficient...and an excellent value. We cold not be more pleased! When we move into our permanent home, Pack it up Moving will be our company of choice!

I requested help unloading a rental moving truck into a storage unit. The two men who did the work were efficient, polite, and manages to get all of my things into the unit which must have been a challenge. I will request them when I have to move again.

Hired on Thumbtack

Two nice guys came to save my life by packing my U-Haul truck with five big pieces of furniture and a ton of boxes. The third guy, whom I talked to on the phone to set this up, was good about calling to tell me of a delay, and it was great that they were up for doing this on very short notice. They packed the truck quickly and saved me a lot of effort. I have two small cavils. One, the bid on Thumbtack was $90, which I thought was the total, but it turned out they meant $90 AN HOUR, and they had a two-hour minimum, so I paid $180 for fifty-five minutes of work. It was worth it to save myself the horrible task of loading, but theoretically they should then have been up for helping me with other things in the second hour. When I asked, they seemed a little taken aback, so I only had the nerve to ask for one thing, taking my discarded rugs out to the dumpster. They did this fine, though. The other thing is that the actual packing job was perhaps not as thoughtful as it could have been. They did it fast, and I didn't have a chance to give them input. But, for instance, the most peculiar thing I had was a twelve-foot joggling board, which had to be put in the truck diagonally (both side to side and top to bottom). I had moving blankets with which I would have asked them to pad both ends, but it was done before I could, and, due to the board's weird placement, they didn't put the boxes in as compactly as they could have. There were gaps which friends and I had to remedy later, when packing the stuff I still had. So I guess I should have had the presence of mind, since I had two hours of their time at my disposal, to ask them to take all the stuff out of the apartment and put it on the ground, and then let me be there to suggest the placement of things when they put it in the truck. I'll know to do this next time-- they would surely have been fine with it-- except that I hope never to move again in my life. But if you want a general suggestion, maybe ask the person who's moving if they have any wishes about how the stuff should go in. If they suggest something impossible or unviable, you can tell them so.

The movers worked well with me in order to make my move successful! They were professional and were sure to call when they were 20 min out! They also wrapped up my belongings that needed to be extra secured. They made sure to ask me where I wanted my furniture. I would definitely recommend this company!
