- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is dependent on the classes requested. Each class is tailored to the needs and requirements of the industry or clients requests. I do charge .56 cents per mile when traveling out of a 20 mile radius. Please contact me and I will be glad to give you a free quote.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As an instructor, I am required to be recertified by both Red Cross and American Heart Association. I am subject to having a representative audit a class of their choosing at anytime. This has never been a concern or problem for me.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was at home one day alone, when my neighbor came running over to me carrying her baby who wasn't breathing. She thrusts the baby into my hands and pleads with me to do something. I had not been trained, but we got the baby breathing again. I knew it would not take much for me to be trained and I didn't want to ever feel so helpless again. It was an awful feeling to have such a young life in my hands and not know how to respond. I do not want anyone to feel that way, especially since it takes just a few hours to be trained.
