What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes every year, Recently updated my NCI certification for HVAC diagnostics and air balancing, Updated my Energy Star HERS rater certification and participated in combustion safety testing for gas appliances, Completed all the National testing requirements to become a ASHI home inspector certified.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Started out in 1983 as a licensed Building codes official in South Carolina. I have been hired as an expert witness in numerous cases through out the years. I felt like I have something to give back with knowledge and experience.
