My Husband and I started our children out on piano at Lyrical Lessons. Kelly has been a wonderful Piano teacher going on 2 years now. She has a plethora of experience and I really like the fact that she teaches on an acoustic piano. Also I think it is important to note that she teaches them music theory and ear training as well which many piano instructors these days seem to leave out. We highly recommend Lyrical Lessons.

I take my child to lessons with Kelly, and she is an absolute joy to work with. She is extremely professional, timely and so knowledgeable. One of the best musicians I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. She is a wonderful pianist and she loves what she does more than anything. She is such a gem of a person! What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically start with a phone conversation to gather basic information about the potential student. I’m will ask about the student’s age, if they already have any prior musical experience and what that is, and why they are interested in taking piano lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors of Science in Piano from Lander University Masters of Music in Collaborative Piano from University of North Carolina School of the Arts Professional Artist Certificate in Collaborative Piano from University of North Carolina School of the Arts
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have experience teaching piano to young children (starting at age 6), adolescents, teens, and adults, at all levels.
