- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My minimum service charge is $165, which includes up to the first two hours of labor. Materials are additional. After the first two hours, additional labor is $50 per hour. I'll always discuss the scope and expected cost with you before starting any work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with a quick phone call to learn more about your project. If you can send photos, I can often provide a realistic ballpark price range before scheduling a visit. That helps us determine whether the project fits your budget without wasting anyone's time. Once we're both comfortable moving forward, I'll come out, inspect the work in person, confirm the scope and final price, answer any questions, and schedule the job. My goal is to make the process simple, transparent, and stress-free from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been working in construction, fabrication, and repair for over 30 years. My background includes Army engineering, commercial diving and underwater welding, low-voltage electrical and security systems, custom fabrication, rapid prototyping, and residential construction and remodeling. I've worked on projects ranging from aerospace, automotive, and industrial manufacturing to custom homes, decks, fences, cabinetry, and general home repairs. That diverse background allows me to approach each project with a practical, problem-solving mindset and deliver quality workmanship that lasts.
