- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For pro level teaching, I offer a great rate! Also you get the best rate if you pay for a month's worth of lessons in advance.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance and have continued my own independent studies in Voice, Pedagogy, and Alexander Technique ever since. My initial training taught me a classical foundation that helped me to build a healthy voice. Since I've been working as a professional singer, I've continued to study so that I could understand how to expand my training to include all styles and genres.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started teaching voice right out of college and realized how much I loved it when I witnessed my first student start to have major breakthroughs and sing with new ease, confidence, and skill. As a result, no matter how busy my performance schedule got or gets, I've been teaching ever since!
