Introduction: My name is James Riddley and I am the owner/operator of Elite Floor Sanding. I have a small company and we do quality work. I have been is business for over 20 years. We specialize in sanding and refinishing of hardwood floors. Check us out on the web. I know the quality workmanship it takes to get the job done right. It is rewarding to see the homeowner so happy about their newly refinished floors. A lot of time and preparation goes into sanding floors. It is usuall a three to five day process. We take great pride in our attention to detail while sanding and finishing your hardwood floor.

Was never provided service because they pushed their date back one whole day and then tried to make up an excuse to push back another day. Could have at least called to let me know they were not going to come but left us completely in the dark the day they were supposed to start. Called their number and the phone wasn't even on. Left a voicemail which has still yet to be returned. Called the "office" number and was told the owner hadn't even left note that we were scheduled after we had already spoken to him and his wife which is who answers the phone for the office. Totally undependable. Don't hire them they'll just waste your time. Also, I don't have photos to show because they never even showed up.

I am sorry for the miscommunication. The owner, my husband, got in a bad wreck and the phone was lost in transferring him to the hospital or at the wreck. He is still in the hospital. This was not an excuse but the truth. My mom was here to help with the business and explained the situation and apologized to the customer. We told them we could start on Friday morning and work through the weekend and that we understood their frustration.I also offered to take $200.00 off the bill. Again, I am sorry for the delay and this is unfortunate because it was an accident that was beyond our control. I do understand we were not there and did not call but his phone is still missing and I was in a panic with his situation. We did have the job on the schedule but my mom said there was not a note left at the office from the owner concerning the delay. This is because he was in the hospital. The cell phone was not on because apparently it is lost and I have to get him a new phone.onype your response to this review.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge $2.00-$2.25 per sq. ft depending on the wood, stain color, and location.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We come into the home to meet with the homeowner, measure their floor to give them an exact price and start the work. On the first day of sanding we show stain colors on their floor for them to choose. We can mix, lighten, or darken stains to find their custom stain color. We hang plastic and do whatever preparation is needed before we begin. We use our dust containment system which captures 90% of the dust from getting in the air. After the sanding and staining is done, we will apply three coats of polyurethane. The poly takes overnight to dry. The homeowner will choose their final coat finish of satin, semi, or gloss.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over 25 years of experience working in new construction, remodeling, and personal homes.
