FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat rate of $80 for the first hour and $40 an hour for every hour after. Repeat customers receive a discount after multiple visits for different services. Larger jobs require a labor deposit (50% of total labor on jobs larger than $1000.00) before work starts and the balance to be paid when the work is finished. Diagnostic fee are deductible from total cost if you decide to push forward with the work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally try to get as much information on the job before a ride out. Following that, I prefer to meet face to face with the customer, on site, and walk through all the details of the job, potential problems/setbacks, how the work will be preformed, discuss pricing, and answer any questions they may have.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I come from a family of tradesmen. My dad is a retired carpenter of over 50 yeara and each of his brothers took a different trade (Electrician, Drywall/painter, and plumber, respectfully). I've spent most of my life working directly for my dad learning everything from residential foundation repair, to drywall, to floor covering and even complete home renovations.
