- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First step is a consultation. We meet to discuss what behaviors you want (example: sit, lay down, stay, come when called, etc.) and what behaviors you have, and DON'T want (jumping, running away, doesn't listen, etc) We discuss a training plan. how often to meet and what you can expect.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
CPDT-KA - Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed. Professional Member of APDT- Association of Professional Dog Trainers. WAG IT! Games - Instructor and judge. - What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Use a professional. Too often people that call themselves trainers use adversive and often inhumane ways to "train." Don't let your dog be manhandled. Contact a Trainer that use positive reinforcement.
