- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally I need a minimum of $300 for an event more than 30 miles from Columbia, S.C. There may be other expenses depending on the distance and the particular date of the event. I am usually available as a One-Man Band with digitally re-created drums however I also can bring other musicians to enhance the performance, including a live drummer. Please contact me if a full band is desired to discuss additional costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, potential customers should check out my reviews on Thumbtack as well as on Gig Salad Second, make an effort to come see a live show at a venue nearest to the customer. Then, if you can't make it to a show check out my reviews, give me a call to discuss your entertainment needs in detail. Then, if you decide to book me I will forward a contract requesting a deposit. I will show up as promised. I pride myself on being flexible and I may learn a few of the special songs the customer has requested for the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have extensive training and background in popular music. I have over 50 years experience as a quality performer. I am professional and very knowledgeable about many different genres of popular music. Including: rock, country, bluegrass, folk, jazz and R&B, Mexican folk music and Calypso-Reggae Music. I have also worked as an elementary school teacher for the last 15 years. I have a special bond with children who always respond very well to my performance.
