Introduction

Ordained for 40+ years in the United Church of Christ, the most liberal and progressive denomination. We welcome all the people, not just some. I enjoy meeting people and providing this service because I know not many people go to church anymore but would like the blessing of a wedding. I live in West Columbia SC and prefer opportunities close to that area. I send you samples of wedding scripts and together we build the words that you want it to say on this important day.

Nancy was great! The vows she customized for us were beautiful! She stayed in contact to make sure we were still on track and flexible. As we had to change our location last minute due to weather.

Amazing!! Nancy is THE officiant to have. She immediately got into the planning of our ceremony and getting to know us. She sent us examples of ceremonies so we could see what we wanted. She is super flexible and open to make sure your ceremony is everything it can be. She made sure on our wedding day that she was clear of where to be, what to do, and got everything in line to make sure our marriage license was complete and all done properly. Nancy was an amazing officiant for our wedding! She was amazing to work with when creating our vows. She showed up early, was super personable, we felt like we had known her for a long time when it was just the first time we were meeting! Her delivery on our vows was absolutely perfect. Nancy was amazing! Our officiant got an assignment with the military and couldn't make it. I found Nancy on here a few weeks before the wedding. We met and talked a while, she got to know us some. She kept in touch and was always quick to respond when we contacted her. She did everything we asked her to wonderfully.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work with each couple on the exact prices. I want weddings to be affordable and available to all.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with couples and get to know them: how they met, what they imagine their wedding to be, their words, their meaningful rituals. The service should say what they it to say, not my words. I have many samples to give them ideas of what others have used in their weddings.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an ordained Pastor of the United Church of Christ. I have been in ministry for 38 years. I believe that Love is Love, and all should be able to marry.
