Mihran Equestrian

Mihran trains horses to be balanced and well-rounded with a varied but consistent training schedule. All horses enjoy weekly trail rides or cross country jumping to become desensitized to wildlife and exposed to natural jumps. Utilizing his strong dressage foundation, Mihran asks all horses to prove a certain degree of stability before introducing jumps. Gymnastic exercises not only teach horses to jump, but also ensures that horses love to jump by being clear in his explanations and quick to reward. Horses gain a trusting mental state when they are given time to understand new concepts regardless of the difficulty of the exercise. There are no shortcuts or gimmicks and all horses learn to work in a gentle snaffle bit. Mihran understands how to nurture the nature of a horse in order to discover the good that exists in every animal.
