FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most jobs get a flat-rate quote so you know the price before I start. There’s a $125 minimum for small jobs to cover travel and setup. Larger projects require 50% upfront to schedule and buy materials, with the rest due when the job is done and you’re happy with it.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Text me a photo and a quick description of the project. For simple jobs I can usually quote from photos; bigger jobs get a site visit. You get a written quote, we pick a date, I do the work and clean up, and we walk through it together before I leave.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I passed the City of Sioux Falls Residential Building Contractor exam with a 94%, and Tenax is licensed, bonded, and insured. Most of my skills come from hands-on work: construction crew in Wyoming, flooring and materials work, and renovating older houses.
