Introduction: I have, since childhood, had a passion for anything to do with building and construction. As a designer who has worked in construction and built many homes over many years, I possess a rare insight into what does and does not work, not only structurally, but aesthetically. Certain elements of design may look good on paper, or on a plan, but in reality do not contribute effectively to the overall design. With 30 years experience designing and building homes, I have developed a unique understanding of how to maximize size, scale, and proportion, making any home the best that it can be. Oddly enough, the thing I like best about my job, is the thing most people may dread. When something seemingly goes awry. I love the challenge of taking what seems like a negative and turning the tables to create something positive out of it. To many people, when something like that comes up, it looks like an insurmountable obstacle that will result in something that they simply have to live with. I see it as an opportunity to create. If you are forced to think outside the box, this could present a problem. If you live outside the box, it is simply an opportunity to go the extra mile to provide something special.
