- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All pricing is discussed after I have seen the job and can accurately build out the time and material expectations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We schedule an initial conversation that will guide the rest of the process, from drawings and an estimate to discussing the budget expectations up front. We keep in close contact and will discuss all major issues with the homeowner to ensure that there are no surprises as we progress through to completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a licensed general contractor in two states for the past 25 years. I am licensed in Hot Springs and carry full insurance for all projects. I am a trained, and formerly licensed, home inspector. This has taught me to loook at jobs from multiple directions, not just from the builders aspect but also from the homeowner. I see things that many contractors overlook. I go into every job with the mindset of doing it the way that I would want at my own house.
