FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can not price anything without seeing the job in person. When I price a job I look at the surrounding area, what it's going to take to get to the tree and get setup. Is there room for equipment to remove debris. Then the hard part starts I piece the tree apart one branch at a time in my mind and guess how long each step will take add that all up and figure a price and 95% time I'm spot on give or take about 15 minutes. I've figured jobs as large as 38 hours and was with in 1/2 hour when completed.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Tree removals are the most common job for us. Normally 1 of 4 reasons, #1 it's old and dying and becoming a hazard. #2 New construction and trees are in the way. #3 the city marked it for removal. #4 Storm Damage.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Large Tree Removal behind the Zoo Bar in Aberdeen, SD. There were only 2 companies around that even bid on this job because of it's difficulty level. It was a Large tree and had a house, a garage a concrete driveway, and the neighbors lawn who was very vocal about not doing any damage to their yard while removing this 8 foot wide tree. All of this directly underneath this 90+ foot tree. To top it all off we also had some high voltage power wires running right by this tree. Every step of this project was planned out very well and went as planned, on time and the neighbor was extremely happy when we were done.
