Introduction: I am a 2nd generation Wedding Planner, Officiant & Photographer and have been doing weddings since 1984. At first it was a sideline job to help my mother with her business; Carmel Weddings in Carmel California. Having done over 1000 weddings, I am a retired nurse and am now continuing to pursue my passion. I am available to officiate your wedding or to take photos. I prefer the smaller weddings and will travel within South Dakota. My mother once said "everyone deserves to have a beautiful wedding that they can afford", that is my belief as well and I proudly follow in her tradition. Reviews on our website or on our facebook page. The best part of what I do is seeing the couples so happy. Seeing their lives come together with a beautiful a NO STRESS wedding that doesn't break the bank. It doesn't have to be complicated when you have the right help.

My mother used to say "everyone should be able to have a beautiful wedding that they can afford". I proudly follow in her footsteps and keep my weddings affordable for all.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually I receive an email to start the process. I like to follow up with a phone call to get the feel of exactly what the couples are looking for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Specialized training by Carmel Weddings in Carmel California which was owned and operated by my mother who well trained myself and my sister and I also took a wedding planning course. I have taken multiple photography courses including those under famed wedding photographer Dennis Reggie.
