FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are competitive and negotiable. If you have a specific amount in mind, please pitch it and I will likely accommodate that amount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will introduce myself, clarify I am not able to give legal advice as a paralegal/notary, and ask about the services that are being sought. I will reiterate the work needed to be done, to confirm both parties understand the other, and then detail the attack plan. I will see what level of updates are desired and save the new client's contact information with special permissions to eliminate any possible issues in reaching me. After the project has been outlined, including any deadlines and fees, I will send a confirmation email listing the details.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my associate degree in applied science, Paralegal Studies. While still attending course I maintained an internship at a general practice law firm that hired me once I graduated. I have primarily worked in law firms for the past eight years now, in pre-litigation and in litigation paralegal roles. I have been a Notary Public from 2016, first in South Carolina, and now in Tennessee, where I can legally notarize remotely/electronically. My experience has granted me experience in the following areas: general administrative duties, personal injury claims, medical malpractice cases, mass torts, legal document preparation, filing legal documents (traditional and electronic), opening estates and drafting probate documents (wills, power of attorneys, etc.), managing subrogation liens, ordering and summarizing medical records, investigating to locate individuals or backgrounds of individuals, etc.
