FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was the Metro Nashville Homicide Sgt. for nearly 30 years. I grew up fascinated by his work, and heard many stories about families left to pick up the pieces without help. This led me to this work, as I could not imagine having to deal with this part in the midst of the tragedy itself.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be careful who you hire for these types of services, as unreputable people may do a poor job just to make the money and not entirely remove the biohazardous materials or infectious antigens. Also, when dealing with crime scenes, accidental/natural death, or suicides, discretion and respect are very important. We offer you a guarantee of privacy, fair pricing, and thorough work.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Not just anyone is qualified for this type of work. Besides the need for proper training in biohazard handling, transport, and disposal, many people take on work of this sort and soon find themselves overwhelmed by the extent of it. Also, discretion is a must. The last thing you want is someone who will leak information, photos, or "souvenirs" to media. Be sure and do a free record check at the Metro website as well, as these people will be in and out of your home or business and you do not want to hire someone with theft charges or similiar crimes.
