FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing for my projects varies from project to project. I am willing to work with my client as much as possible. For graphic design, my prices are normally around $20 to $40 an hour with a minimum of 4 hours of work and a 35% retainer. Once again, this really depends on the project scope, and the client’s request.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process of working with a new customer is to use the best customer skills that I have. I like to know the project's expectations, budget, and timeline. Before the projects start, I would have a contract that you would need to confirm. The projects will have a retainer as well. This is to cover assurance and cost expenses if needed. The retainer is 25% of the projected overall project cost. During the course of the project, I would prefer to stay in contact with you by either way of phone, in person, and email. This is so that everyone is in a clear understanding of the phases throughout the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am obtaining my graphic design B.F.A. from Savannah College of Art & Design. Also, I have an Associate’s degree in Multimedia from ITT Technical Institute. Although new to Thumbtack as a competent designer, I have freelanced before attending college and am confident that my updated current design work will compliment your requests. Expanding my profession as a freelance designer online is exciting. . Through my exposure as a freelance designer, I have developed technical skills, as well as an understanding of the industry production pipeline.
