DO NOT USE this company. Antwuan Brown If I could give negative 5 I would. I hired this person to help with multiple rental units. The reason I did so was because his description mentions that he has experience with the hospitality industry so I thought he would be a great fit for my short-term rental business. From the beginning, the communication was awkward. I worked very hard to make sure that what I said was actually understood. The main priority for me is a quick turnaround so that my guests are not inconvenienced. I do not think that he ever completely understood this. The work was slow but my biggest complaint is he misrepresented his abilities. He is unable to do any sort of HVAC work or plumbing issues such as replacing or fixing sink disposal units.
The reason for my terrible review and my final straw was that it took over two weeks to get a straight answer? About what was wrong with my HVAC system in one of the units. During this time I had to move 2 Guest Reservations into other units that I manage. This was not an easy task, but luckily I got it done. Before the third guest checked in this person had over a week to diagnose the issue. I was told multiple things and told he was confident it would be fixed before my guest arrived. When I finally got him to show up, it was less than an hour before check-in.
Of course he was unable to get this issue fixed. My Guest was an elderly person with a service dog. The guest was understandably upset. I needed to refund her and because I felt so badly I found her a place to stay. During all of this, I found a different HVAC person who diagnosed the issue in 20 minutes! My unit was fixed in less than 12 hours. I am completely disgusted because I was lied to. And I have received a very bad review because of this latest issue (1 star). I ALSO received a three star review from another inconvenienced guest which is not good at all because the unit was hot when they arrived. Please do not hire this person, they cannot be trusted and I paid probably three times what I needed to pay to get my issue. Fixed but it was NOT EVER fixed!!!! I truly hope this review affects Brown’s MAINTENANCE negatively as I have been affected negatively by reviews, I have gotten that was not my fault whatsoever. I am completely disgusted and feel very taken advantage of.
