FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We'll start by discussing your vision, goals, and the type of session you're looking for. Whether it's portraits, branding, family photos, or a special event, I'll take the time to understand exactly what you're hoping to capture.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my photography experience has been self taught. Over the years, I've spent countless hours learning through hands on practice, studying photography techniques, experimenting with different styles, and continuously refining my skills through real world shooting experience. In addition to being largely self taught, I have also pursued formal education in photography through college coursework, which has helped strengthen my understanding of camera operation, lighting, composition, editing, and the technical aspects of the craft. By combining formal education with extensive practical experience, I've developed a well rounded approach to photography that allows me to consistently deliver high quality results for my clients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started in photography because I've always had a natural appreciation for capturing the beauty of the world around me. From an early age, I found myself noticing details, moments, and perspectives that I wanted to preserve and share with others. What drew me to photography most was the ability to freeze a moment in time and create something that can last a lifetime. Photography means a lot to me because photos become memories, whether it's a special milestone, a family moment, or a personal achievement. Knowing that the images I create can be cherished for years to come is what inspired me to pursue photography and continues to motivate me today. Over time, that passion grew into a craft that I've dedicated myself to developing through both education and hands on experience.
