I am passionate about helping my students combine healthy singing technique with honest expression in their performance. I cross-train my singers to be versatile and well-rounded in their vocal ability so that they can explore many styles of singing they love. Throughout the year, I coordinate many events to promote a community within my studio where my students can build confidence, inspire each other, and learn together.

My son had a great time training with Abbie for a super last minute theatrical audition. He had to be able to sing a song for an acting role. After only an hour of coaching he improved so much and sounded great on his self tape audition that was due in a few hours! His manager and agent approved his self tape and submitted it to the casting director. We all agreed that Abbie was nice and effective and someone we would use for voice lessons again.

Abby is incredibly kind, patient, supportive, and knowledgeable. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Drop-in lessons are offered at a higher rate. Those on studio memberships and coming in regularly get a discount of $10 off per hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have an intro lesson where I introduce some basics and learn more about the singer’s goals and musical background. I hear the client sing a song and we make a plan moving forward so that they can work towards something that pushes them and excites them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified through the CCM Pedagogy Institute at Shenandoah University and am finishing a degree in vocal performance with an emphasis in commercial music.
