- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since I am an only man. It is hard to juggle around doing free estimates. I will give out my commission% if you find me another paying customer. I heard from a podcast that some companies advertising themselves to bankruptcy. It is 6% commission. My current employer just living of that... a regular week for 6 man crew is 45k+
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I am going to ask what you want done. I will make sure it is the right thing to do or if the is any other option available. I inspection for quality and safety. I take pictures and note and concerns. On prunes, raising canopy, and general trimming I would mark on the pictures where I would cut. Just sign up for what you want done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
These were more work related training then actually class. I learned to climb and cut from Monster tree service. I learned tree care from online and peer review articles. Some was from college Biology class.
