Cleo discussed the job completely and ensured which plants were to be kept as well as the type and color of mulch. Couldn’t be happier with the pruning of shrubs. When he left the entire site was clean and neat. Thought the value was excellent. Highly recommended.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for lawn care is based on the square footage and condition of the yard. If the yard or flowerbeds are overgrown, the initial cost to bring the yard into maintenance shape will be higher. Customers who are on a regular rotation will pay less because the yard is being consistently maintained and doesn't require as much labor.
Landscape design projects are priced based on the scope of the project and the materials and labor that will be required to complete the job. For example, customers who provide their own mulch or decorative rocks/stones will see a discount in the total price of their project. If a project requires more than originally expected, the customer will be told in enough time to decide against moving forward and will be given ideas for alternative modifications to keep the project within budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most important thing is communication. I want to be sure I know exactly what the customer wants, what their expectations are, and what they have budgeted for the project. An initial discussion is crucial to give a clear and reasonable estimate for the project. Once the work begins, customers are notified of progress each step of the way in the communication style they prefer. If adjustments need to be made, there will be enough consistent communication to ensure that those adjustments can be made in a timely fashion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's Degree in Business and have been in business for over 27 years. I understand the needs of customers and the importance of honesty, authenticity, and a serious work ethic. As an educated professional, I am able to listen well, and clearly articulate to the customer how a project can be completed, and what adaptations can be made in order to provide the service the customer expects.
