I was extremely fortunate to have found David on this app. He was knowledgeable, a hard worker, a great communicator and honest. I had several plumbers come to the house to (attempt to) fix a troubled toilet. Each of them could only provide a temporary fix and none of them bothered to pull the toilet to properly diagnose the issue - I’ll get to that later. Two of the plumbers told me the recurring issue resulted from my cast iron pipes. So… I sought quotes to replace a section of piping with PVC , as well as full replacement. David was the first to quote and I instantly wanted him to perform the work. However, this was a large project and I needed to collect multiple quotes and interview multiple plumbers. David proved to be the most knowledgeable and was the most affordable! His quote for full replacement was more than 1/2 of the cost of one the quotes I received and less than one of the partial replacement quotes I received. David explained the replacement process in detail, took plenty of before and after pictures and made sure to leave everything tidy after he completed the work. After he finished the project we tried flushing the problematic toilet and… it still didn’t work!!! I was super deflated. David asked me if any of the plumbers had bothered to pull and inspect the toilet. I told him I thought one had pulled it but only to look at the pipe connection and nothing more. David offered to pull and inspect the toilet, since he knew the piping wasn’t the issue, even after 10 hours of being underneath my house. Sure enough, there was an obstruction in the toilet!!! Turns out, I didn’t need to replace my cast iron pipes. I should have asked David to diagnose the issue before assuming those other plumbers were correct. Hindsight. But… I don’t regret replacing my cast iron because I eventually would have had to do it anyway and I added immediate equity to my house. David is now my go to plumber and I highly recommend his services.
