FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to be aware of what my competitors charge, but also try to be realistic concerning the quality of work, what my work is worth, along with the actual man hours or physical labor involved. All of this plays a factor in my price, but I do allow myself to be flexible to meet the needs of the client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to meet with a client for a consultation before our session just to go over the needs of the client and what type of photography style they are interested in. This allows the client to feel more comfortable when he or she knows what to expect ahead of time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I trained on the job for a national portrait studio between 1998-2004 as both a full time staff photographer and manager, as well as went to the six week training course offered by my company at the time. I then managed five different studios before starting my own company.
