What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have an easy pricing system, all duties included in one price which is currently at $15.00 per hour and $1.00 per mile if we use our vehicle.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We do individual client training and annual training.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always wanted to help seniors with all their many needs and was asked by a caregiver to help a couple who had no one to keep them in their home, they were my first clients which lead me to starting this company. The rest is history.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Providing caregivers in their homes or facility, shopping, transportation, house cleaning, pet care, meals, mail handling and all activities of daily living.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Keep a couple in their home per their wishes til they passed, even after they ran out of money, myself and caregivers volunteered our time to keep them in their home.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always hire a licensed agency and not off the street workers. There are some real horror stories out there in this line of business.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That I love working with seniors and have taken care of several that didn't have much money. Also taken food to home bound clients.
