A true "student of the sound," his journey began in 1974 at WTBG 95.3 immediately following high school, sparking a lifelong dedication to the airwaves. Academic & Professional Foundation Elvis possesses a deep academic background in his craft, holding a Degree in Music from JSCC and a B.A. in Radio/TV/Film from the University of Memphis (Class of ’83). This unique combination of technical theory and practical broadcast experience allowed him to excel at some of the region’s most influential stations, including: *WMC-FM 100 *WMC-AM *WRBO A Legacy of Performance Beyond the booth, Elvis is an accomplished musician and live personality. From his roots in his high school band to performing at every major hotel venue in Memphis, his live presence is well-known. He has been a recurring fixture at Memphis in May events, notably partnering with Outdoors Inc. to provide the soundtrack for the city’s most iconic celebrations.
