What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on the job, I may come to do an onsite review and estimate or provide a project cost right away. It all depends on the job and the task that needs completing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am actually a full-time finance professional at the moment. However, I am looking to start a home renovation business and beginning with handyman type jobs where folks need help! I have considerable experience from rebuilding a previously finished basement, including tearing down the old walls and ceiling, completely new framing of the basement, all the way to final inspection!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started with odd jobs around the house! I have always been interested in construction work and truly enjoy the task of figuring out how to build something and working with my hands. When it came time to fixing or upgrading around our own home, I jumped in and learned as I went.
