We chose House of Granite for our new build, and I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience. I was absolutely obsessed from the moment we selected our slabs and now our kitchen is my absolute favorite place. Truly feels like art is in our kitchen and all our family and friends keep saying what a showstopper it is!Originally we went to another company and we were walked right over to the Taj Mahal. I personally felt the interaction, though nice, was really lacking on the customer experience aspect. The rep mainly talked to my husband and really didn't ask me or him anything about our home and overall goals. Its was Taj Mahal this and that and I left feeling like there has to be something better and then I stumbled upon House Of Granite LLC!We worked directly with the owners, Reslin and Paulo, and they were incredible. Not only are they kind and attentive, but their level of customer service made what can be a stressful part of building a home feel effortless. They are originally from Brazil, where much of the stone is sourced, so their knowledge is unmatched. They even offer access to their Atlanta yard if youre looking for something beyond whats available locally. We decided to go against the popular Taj Mahal and go with something that had a bit more wow factor and that is exactly what we got!We purchased three slabs for our kitchen and a remnant for our master bathroom. Pricing was very competitive with the market, and one slab in particular was significantly better. For reference, $120 per square foot seems to be the going rate for popular materials like Taj Mahal quartzite or quartz, and we found excellent value through House of Granite.What stood out most to me was how thoughtful they were in the selection process. We made a late decision to add our master bathroom to the order. When I returned to the shop, Paulo had already pulled a slab he thought would work beautifully. Before I could even start asking my long list of questions, he showed me photos he had taken of our bathroom, shower, and floor tile and explained exactly why he selected that piece. It incorporated nearly all the tones in our space. He wasnt just selling stone. He was designing with us. And he was absolutely right!!! It was perfect!!They never made me feel rushed or pressured. They genuinely care about helping you choose the right piece for your home, not just getting you in and out the door. That level of care made such a difference during an otherwise overwhelming build process.When I say they went above and beyond I seriously mean it! We had a visit midway through and I brought my dog Birdie at the end of the install they surprised us with matching dog set of dog bowls. That part is what really made me feel like we (puppers included) were not just another number to them. They really considered us and 2 of the most important members of our family. (We dont have children yet!)They currently have 67 five star reviews, and after working with them, I completely understand why! Supporting a small, family owned business that delivers this level of quality and service was not only important to me, but feels really good.I would highly recommend House of Granite to anyone building or renovating!!
