- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am offering a 10% discount to all military and first responders. My fees start at $15 per square foot for interior work and $17 per square foot exterior work for murals. This does not include an added 20% for materials or if a lift or specialized machinery is required. Window paintings start at $75 per pane with a $150 minimum. Custom banners start at $50 for a 3x4 and increase by $10 per foot.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically like to start by asking the client the purpose of their project and what their vision is. This is when I’ll ask for inspiration, concepts, photos, or other murals. I like to follow up with measuring the space so that I can provide an appropriate quote. With all this information, I’m able to deliver something unique to the client that fits within their desired budget and brings their ideas to life!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took AP Art in high school but everything else has been freelance work and hobby art. This allowed me to be very flexible in what I focus on and to perfect different techniques based on my preferences and skill level. I am also able to dive into new techniques at any time. Art isn’t an exact science.
